GIFF

Official GIFF (Great Indoor Folk Festival) poster! I'm excited to be surrounded by familiar faces like TurboPup, OBBS, and Brett Mitchell, as well as being with people who I haven't heard yet. Make sure you come down!

Picnic at the Opera

Sitting during sound check and rundown of the show, Morgan Burke-Beyers (UpNorth Media) asks Penny and Radel of Oh Brother Big Sister about a song, and David Chown says "I'm gonna play on that one too." The musicians in this town blow me away.

Farmer Foot Drums

Before the taping of Picnic at the Opera, Pete Farmer of Farmer Foot Drums hooked me up with a fantastic StompDrum, I have been using it for the past week or so, and I couldn't be more impressed! Despite being smaller than my old 24"x16" bass drum (my StompDrum is 20"x4"), the StompDrum still warrants my sister coming downstairs and telling me to be quiet. I have been blown away by everything about the instrument, and will be using it for my upcoming solo gigs in the foreseeable future. Check out their website at footdrums.com
